BSIG Mentorship

We believe that the best way to learn anything in life is through learning from others. Thanks to the incredible TKE USC alumni network we have been able to connect students from freshman to seniors with alumni already in their desired industry. These alumni provide an incredible opportunity to learn as they have the first hand knowledge and experience to held students break into the most competitive job market ever.

The BSIG Mentorship Program started in spring 2024 by Co-Presidents Grégoire Marsot and Chris Araujo, brought together a first cohort of 12 mentors and mentees spanning consulting, banking, and private equity. The initial mentorship class ended up securing numerous offers throughout the recruiting cycle and spearheaded what seems to be key pillar in the future of BSIG.

As we look ahead we believe that the future of finance will become more and more relationship driven as the speed of adaptation of ultra-capable technology increases. Most technical information is broadly available on the internet today, anyone can access that, what differentiates one person from another is how resourceful and knowledgeable they are, how capable they are, and if they truly understand the industry. The BSIG mentorship program bridges all these gaps and ensures student are the most prepared to break into an opaque industry.
